Hi,

I'm new here and hope to learn a lot. Photography was a serious hobby of mine in the 1980's but I got sidetracked by my job and family. I'm starting to get back into it now but I find that I'm very rusty. I just bought a Nikon D80 after lurking here and reading photographgy magazines and on line reviews. I'm very happy with but find I have a lot to learn about digital photography.

I'm particulary interested in landscapes and people. (I know very vague and I'm like a million other photographers.) I hope to narrow the scope as I gain experience.

I haven't quite figured out all of the in's and out's of posting and editing so forgive me if it takes me a little while to post anything.
