Hello from Harrow, UK

Hi everyone, here you have a complete novice in the world of photography! At the end of September I am starting a ten week beginners photography course at Harrow College which I hope will enable me to get the most out of my camera.
I really enjoy taking photos of my grandchildren (when they will let me-they never seem to keep still long enough). Also of my surroundings.

Here are some simple shots I took this weekend, they are long distance.

They are beginners photos, but I hope to learn lots of ways to make 'music' with my camera which is a Panasonic Lumix FZ38. Mostly I leave it on IA, until I know more about settings etc.
