Hello everyone, I’m Alex!

I am a very amateur photographer, in fact I’ve not really started yet. My background is more marketing focused, but having recently joined a photography agency I thought I should probably get a bit more involved. The truth is, although I’ve always been interested, I’ve never really been very good at taking photos. That said, I’ve never really tried. The time has now come for me to buy a new camera and hopefully learn from the pros, which is why I am here.

I look forward to getting to know more of you and maybe I’ll eventually be able to post some of my work.

Thanks Marcelle, nice to meet you. I would have thought with a forum of this size there would be more people to say hi to, but I guess with being a newbie and an amateur I'm not that interesting. Have found several post on here useful so far though. I'm looking to buy a camera so finding suggestions pretty interesting.
