I had read a few threads on here, and decided it was time to join.
I am an amateur photographer, but at one time was shooting weddings, events, and a bit for some online magazines, as well as a few local publications in FL. Now I shoot for me, for fun, and for the challenge of pushing to get a better shot. I have a few beliefs when it comes to photography, and many of which stem from a decent amount of art education.
I still do model shoots on occasion, and like I tell them, I want to make photos not take them, and as a model and photographer we work together to reach that goal.
I am beginning to branch into street photography as I find myself more and more doing urban improvised shots, whether it be here where I live or an hour away in the French Quarter.
I want to network and meet like minded people to share learn and grow.
