Hi I'm allie and i've been "into" digital photography for about 10 years. I've just gotten more serious about it recently after some encouragement from friends and family. I'm looking at purchasing my first DSLR and am looking for some advice... also some advice on starting out in the freelance photography world. I have a flickr account with almost 400 photos uploaded if anyone is interested in giving me any constructive criticism. I'm currently using a Fuji FinePix S1500 which is my newest digital (I have had 3 others, but the only other one I use is an older Fuji FinePix). I've had no formal training at all... just what i've picked up on my own... although i've been thinking of taking a community ed class that is offered once I actually take the leap and purchase a DSLR.
