Hello from North Yorkshire

Hello everyone,

Just got tipped off about this site from PhotoPoints - glad I came here it looks super !

I have met up with around a dozen people around the UK and we get together fairly regularly up and down the country - all learning from each other whether it be landscapes/macros/nightscapes/architecture etc

Some of us have DSLR's and others have compacts but we all have a blast !

Several of us are in the North/West Yorkshire area and get out as a small group (safety in numbers) almost weekly and anyone interested is welcome to come along (hey, its free !!). It is amazing just how much you learn and see when you are with others.

If the weather turns too cold though, it usually turns into a drinking club with a photography problem.

I have a Canon 20D and an Olympus C8080 (when my daughter allows me to use it).

Hiya Steve, and welcome to ThePhotoForum.
So I hear you're flying over any time soon now and wish to meet up with some other photographers from the PNW? There are some, but not right in Seattle, as far as I know.

Hey, and start posting your lovely Yorkshire landscapes and all you photograph around there (while you can still focus
