Hello from Okinawa, Japan!

Hello everyone, my name is Alex and I'm currently living in Okinawa, Japan. I'm originally from Boston, MA and am 22 years old. Just signed up for this forum, seems like a great place to have my work critiqued, learn a lot of things to expand my creativity and of course tips and tricks from well-experienced photographers. I'm just starting out so I don't have the latest and greatest equipment, I just make due with what I have and so far it's been going fairly well for me. Anyway, I plan on posting on this forum at regular intervals and continually refer back whenever I need some help. That's about it, look forward to hearing any feedback from anything I post. Welcome! Don't worry about not having the latest and greatest equipment. A photographer makes a great picture not the camera.

Just remember when you post up for critique don't take things personal. The best input you can get is honest advice and it is not always what you want to hear, but if you listen you will get better!
