Hello folks,

Figured I should start here. I'm new to the photo world and in fact so new that I have yet to purchase my first dslr camera. I've been taking photos for years for fun and always wanted more but never had the time. Now that I'm settled into my career and have some free time I'm taking some time to enjoy the things I never got to. I'm preparing to make my first slr purchase in the next couple of weeks. I'll be looking for guidance so any tips would be appreciated. My OTHER hobby is as a cocktail/alcohol reviewer and I own Intoxicology101.net. Eventually I would like to begin taking stunning photos of the drinks I receive and create. Stop by when you get a chance.
