Hello from Portland, OR

Hi everyone. Just discovered this site and cannot wait to learn a little more about my camera, and shooting pics in general. I'm a long-time film user (40+ years) that made the switch to digital in 2004, and bought my Nikon D70 in early 2005. (I'm ashamed to admit I still have several rolls of undeveloped film laying around...how quickly we spoil!)

I haven't made the transition to digital manipulation...yet. Old habits die hard and I still prefer to compose my photos through the lens instead of on my computer, but I suppose I will need to change that sometime soon.

I also have a Nikkor 28-105 mm zoom, a 70-210 mm zoom with macro, a 70-300 mm zoom, and a few other goodies. I just rec'd (a Christmas present from my wife) a Lensbaby Composer...really cool!

I'm looking forward to joining in some discussions and learning more.
