Hi all, joined this forum to get re-acquainted with photography, especially since I know very little about high-end SLR digital cameras. I've had formal education in photography and really enjoyed it, but that's been more than a decade ago. So, I'll be around here, reading mostly for a while.

Welcome to TPF Its surprising how much we can forget isn't it? I hadn't used my film camera for several years, just a cheap point & shoot digital and when I decided to really get back into photography and took out the film camera it felt so awkward and I had totally forgotten how to use many of the settings....solved the problem - Joined TPF and got a DSLR! If I had to learn all over again, I figured I might as well do it on something new.
