Hello from Toronto!

Hey all, this is the first photography forum I've joined. I'm planning a trip to Ireland this summer, and am going to need to pick myself up a decent camera for the trip, but am kind of overwhelmed with the information on review sites. To begin with, most of the information is WAY beyond my experience level, and review sites tend to review everything favorably anyways. I know from being around the audio community that the best info comes from the actual community, so here I am! I'll post my camera question in the beginners section with my budget, preferences and a couple camera's I've heard great things about. If anyone feels like giving some advice I'll meet you there!
