Hey everyone! I just got a real camera, a D80 vs my little pocket toy and am lost in all of the features and aspects of using this camera but am absolutely loving it.
I'm new to the forum and am learning a lot from all of the topics in here. It's unbelievable how much I don't know. I knew I didn't have a clue but wow. I'm looking forward to all of the feedback in the years to come. Anyways, here's a random photo from a day I chose to shoot instead of surf.

Welcome Shane. I was only in Victoria once during a summer vacation as a young photographer. Since the temperature was 110 degrees fahrenheit, I will certainly never forget it.
