Hello people of photography

New to this forum completely, just posted my first question... looking forward to any replies and advice. Been using friends and college SLRs for so long now cant wait to finally have my own... but need advice first on what to get... Going to continue browsing the forum and asking questions, go to a camera shop, try some out, very excited!!

Welcome! You and I are in the same boat... Well, except I finally bought my DSLR. I went with a Canon T3i, but I had some pretty specific intentions. Peace and welcome again!
