Hello everyone, my name is Lewis and I've just joined the photo forum. I'm a creative bloke but I haven't done enough recently to satisfy my creative need and so I've decided to join a community in the hope that it will inspire me and give me a kick up the backside.

My Dad very kindly gave me his old Nikon D80 as a Christmas present and I'm keen to use it. It's my first camera; I'm a complete photography novice. The plan is that I will learn lots and fall in love and find a hobby for life.
