hi folks,
my name's derrick and i've been interested in photography for a long time, though i really only got into it recently.
currently, i only own a P&S (Canon A720 IS).
but i will be making a big purchase soon on a Nikon D60, within the next month or two.
in the meantime, i shoot with my Canon in manual mode for the most part, and i enjoy taking pictures of everything from wildlife to architecture to people (though the last one is a bit sketchier 'cause it's one thing to hold a professional camera and go around snapping pictures of people; it's another to hold a P&S and seem like a creeper)
i look forward to submitting my stuff and having you guys comment on how i could improve.
i do have a flickr Flickr: derrickwong23's Photostream
the stuff on there is all done with my Canon, so the quality is shoddy compared to DSLRs, but i do hope you visit and let me know how it looks
looking forward to spending lots of time on here...
