Hello to everybody

Hi. I can call myself a moderate beginner with Photography. I do a lot of product photography and it will be awesome if you guys can help me out with stuff like that. I even will ask a first question. What lens would you recommend to shoot pages of the book that only has photography in it? I need the photos to have the best texture of the original images as possible - example grainess, colors)


I own Rebel XT (yea, i know, a very old camera, but its studio camera where I work and we cannot afford a new one just yet) with basic 18-55 mm lens. I do have external flash on it. I learned a lot in the past few months as I played with camera settings, but I still think I have a lot to learn and thats why i came to this website.
