Hi All, I came to this site looking for some advice. I didn't want to just jump into the forum and start posting right away. I need some advice on video quality actually, it seems similar to photography. I'm a pilot and I've been using a Kodak Zi8 in the air to get some video. My issues are too much vibration due to high RPM in the aircraft and prop blur. I've tried just about every setting in the aircraft so I don't know what else to try really. If you would like to take a guess at it I'll have a thread in the Beginners where I will go into more detail.

Hey, Welcome to the forum

Zi8 has what they call "electronic" image stabilization, it does not work as well as the "optical" image stabilization.

Get something with Optical image stabilization and it will work a lot better.
