Hello from Massachusetts!

I decided to try and join a photography forum to help brush up my skills and get more into my new-found hobby (as of, like, a year ago now?).

I currently use a Canon Powershot SD1000, but this weekend will be picking up a Nikon D60 with the 18-55mm lens to start. Over time, I want to build up a nice collection of lenses, maybe filters, and other accessories.

I'm hoping to learn a lot from you guys!

Anyone else on here from Massachusetts? If so, where are some good spots to practice some outdoor photography?
