My name is Mike and I am from Belleville, IL, which is about 15 miles East of St. Louis. I bought my first camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-H2) about 3 years ago. I used it quite a bit when hiking and took it a long with me to places like California, Colorado, and Hawaii.
Fast forward to about a month ago, I found a good deal on a Nikon D40 and finally took the plunge since I had been craving a DSLR. I'm in my final year in college and looking to go to graduate school afterwards so money isn't always on my side. Now, I am here to take in as much information as possible!
