Another newbie here...I'm an art teacher looking to improve my photo skills so that one day I might supplement my *cough*amazing*cough* teacher salary by taking pictures on the side. Perhaps this is a far fetched dream but I've always been fascinated with photography. As I told my friends and family "I've decided to be a photographer, now I've got to learn to take pictures".

My art background helps but I'm finding as I dive deeper into the world of photography that my technical knowledge is lacking. That's what brought me here. I have so many questions to ask and not a whole lot of photographer's to ask them to. I'm sure you'll see me around in the "help me" section.
