I'd like to submit a photo to a photo contest sponsored by a local company. The theme is military, EMT, police, fire or other service. It's been 30 years since I shot for the Air Force so I don't have a ton of military shots with the exception of a gallery from a local heroes funeral service. I'm torn between these three images. I typically don't care for selective coloring unless it really works to draw the viewer's attention, which I think it does in the 2 I've used it in.

I would appreciate it if I could get some of you to help sway me to an image.

The contest will be judge by the employees of the company, not photographers.

Thanks!

i personally think in the first image the major impact is seeing the womens face and the selective coloring on the flag is pulling my gase away from the grieving women and onto the corner of the picture. i think the impact would be much greater without the selective coloring.
