Help with Faded Rose-Edits OK

I'd like some advice on sharpening the top right section of the flower. In large prints, it looses shapness and does not appear natural. Is there any way to fix it in PSE4? I've been experimenting with black backgrounds. I like the effect but can't seem to get it quite right. I'd also like advice on removing the wire used to hold the rose up. Thanks for your help. Any edits are cool with me.

Thanks for the attempt. Itt does look a bit better. I've about decided, it is th photographer. The same spot still bothers me.
