Hi, this seems like an amazing forum, I have only just found it, so apologies for my first thread to be questions!!!
I have a canon 500D EOS. I have 18-55 mm lens that came with it, also a tamron, 70-300 mm and a prime 50 mm lens.
Now I am learning more I want to expand my lenses but am not sure how. I love landscape, and wildlife photography. But also I would like to do some real estate photography. I thought of the 16-22 mm. Or the sigma 10-16 mm. And at the other end of the range something telephoto with say 400 mm.
My main problem when I look at all the options are which ones fit the EOS mount. I know it's not a full sensor but do get a bit confused with all the different names from different lens companies. Any help would be appreciated.
Thnx

Any new lenses will fit your 500D. However, if you buy EF-S lens or that 10-16 sigma, those only fit on cropped sensor (your camera). So if you ever buy a full frame, they wont fit.

Full frame only takes EF. No EF-S.
