I have a SAMYANG 7370000 Korea 55@ f=80-200mm Lens (Sears Model # 202 lens No 850613709) that I used with my old PENTAX ME. I just brought a new PENTAX *ISTDL and yesterday I used with this lens everything went ok until I tried to take it out from the camera, tried now multiple times but seems to be stuck it. The camera and the lens continuous be working perfectly but seems to be a mechanical problem that did not allow to turn the bayonet mount.

Any one had heard a similar case? Any give me some ideas how to take out the lens.

Thanks in advance

Jose, there is a known issue with some Ricoh lenses mounted on Pentax DSLRs that are difficult to get off because of a extra pin on the lens mount. This may be a similar situation.

Best advice is to find some very thin plastic and try to work it between the lens and camera to release the pin.

Good luck!

Thanks Jim, was able the take it out using the tiny plastic.

Thanks a lot, had this for a week, I was thinkink to dirsarm the lens.

More information about the cause you can find here, I read it yesterday but no one give the idea of using the plastic

Thanks again,

JR
