i really like this picture, it really captures the essence of myrtle beach, but i just don't think it pops...

Try useing some lighting, place them or it in from and to the sides of your subject and mess around with it, get lower or shoot from above.

I also think there are too many lines that make the picture look crooked, the grass line behind the girl the trees lean one way and the flag the oposite way, the back ground distracts me because of that, like the aboveposter said, maybe some different lighting would have helped make the subject the main focus?
