Last week, after being asked how to clean the sensor in a DSLR - our teacher went out to search for the answer, she returned and told us, that you can get an attachment for your vaccum cleaner that will suck the dust out!

Sooo. There you go. Should be able to get them at camera shops I assume

I suppose if it limited the flow of air enough. But it might damage your vacuum?

It would just have to have a mount on the front that is the same as the camera. Could work well, can't see much of a market for it though.

NO! NO! NO! NO!

The vacuum is one of the dustiest things in your house. Keep it far, far away from you cameras.

If you want to use a vacuum, you need to buy one that will only be used for your camera gear, and keep it in a plastic bag when not in use. I keep a small vacuum in my darkroom for cleaning sheet film holders, but I wouldn't let it near my digital camera.

I've been using a cheap foot powered, air pump (it was $13) to blow off my sensor. I only use it for my DSLR, and keep it as dust free as possible.
