Hey Everyone,

Patrick here from Saddleback Leather Co. and I'm joining the forum to find out what the perfect photographer's bag would be! Hope you all can help me out! Thanks a bunch

Hey Patrick! I know it's been a while since you posted this, and hopefully you still check in here. I only came across this post because I was doing a search for Saddleback Leather. I have been drooling over the bags on the website and really like the Med. Gadget bag. The only negative I can find about the bag after looking at all the rave reviews on your products would be the mounting points for the strap. If they could possibly be moved up a bit to prevent the bags tendency to roll over that would be a big plus, and if the Med. size was just a little too deep. The measurements for tall and width seem to be pretty spot on but I think most folks like to stow the camera lens down in the middle with a lens taking up the space on either side of the lens that's mounted on the body. With one of the inserts this would be perfect but it only needs to be about 5.75" for a good fit. (D5100 with grip) only needs about 5.25" So the current measurement of 7+" is a little too roomy.
That being said, I am still trying to work on the Wife to reduce the recoil when I pull the trigger on one of the bags, I could really use it for a trip to Italy next month. Keep up the great work!
