Hey, I'm new

I love photography but I'm not the best at it, especially editing. I want to improve on my mediocre photoshop/gimp skills, and get better at using natural light. I have an extremely limited budget, so I've been stuck with a point and shoot (which thankfully had a manual, aperture priority, and shutter speed priorities). I'm also looking for my dream camera, something with a retractable zoom lens... and a manual zoom ring. That can fit in my pocket. a guy can always dream, right?
