Hi! I am new

Trying to get into photography. I've done a lot of amateur stuff, now that I am ready to invest some real money into a camera I was looking for information on cameras and etc etc.

Mostly action shots, going to the race track with my fiance and take pictures of him riding his bike around the track. :mrgreen:

The most I want to spend is $1,500 and I really like Nikons

If you can find a D70s, than you'll be able to buy the Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8.

I use the combination and you'll be able to do great action shots with it. off of B&H, the combination with a D80 instead is about $1750.
