Hey everyone. I'm Bill, just signed up tonight & figured this is a good thread to start out with. I'm a designer for The Weather Channel, and like so many other designers I dabble in all sorts of other art too. Skipping the details of the long drawn out story, I have a hot rod which led to painting hot rods which then turned into painting pinup girls which led to taking pictures for source images which then turned into doing pinup photography which led to engagement photos & wedding photos & family reunions & even some publicity work at my day job. I've spent the last couple years googling every question I come across one by one learning everything I can about photography and cameras and the business end of things and just sort of reinventing the wheel...tonight I got the brilliant idea to just google "photography forum" instead, and BAM. Here I am.
