Greetings from the DMV!! I decided to join because I wanted to learn about photography. I'm getting my 1st dslr camera this weekend. I love forums because they are the best place to learn about things of interest. I so need help with depth of field, aperture, vignetting, and a host of other terms. I hope there's a glossary around here somewhere. I'm still trying to figure out what CA is . I'm not looking to become a professional photographer or anything. I just want to do it as a hobby. I'm a forum lurker I probably won't post much. As you can see. I'm very long-winded I just want to be able to understand my camera. I can't see droppin a grip on a camera only to use it as a point and shoot camera. I love settings and buttons and programs. See you guys around.

I don't know if we have a glossary around here...but the search function should help for most things and of course, a quick Google or Wikki search is pretty easy.
