Hi everyone! My name is Michael, Im 41 y/o and just recently my wife and I purchased our first camera, a Nikon D5100. I am brand new to photography but trying to soak up as much info and advice I can, so far having a blast with the camera. I know there is a huge amount of info and guidance I can get from all of you, and I look forward to getting to know all of you. This board has so much information my head is about to explode lol Thanks

Thank you! So far I love my 5100 as well, still learning but everyday is something new

I'll start to post some pics for critiques, I am sure they are horrible compare to most of you but like you said it will help me grow and only get better (hopefuilly
