Hi everyone, newbie here. I've always enjoyed taking photos, and sort of taught myself the basics, but after I got my DSLR a few months back, I decided I wanted to learn properly and booked myself onto a couple of courses run by Going Digital. I took the first course yesterday, and the second one is booked for a couple of weeks' time. I hope to get a lot of advice and feedback on this forum! I've already posted a few pics I took during and after the course in the general photos gallery (and used one for my avatar too!)

I generally take landscape and macro shots. I use a Nikon D3300, and currently using the 18-55mm kit lens, but if Santa is nice to me this year, I'm hoping to find the Tamron 70-300mm with Macro under the tree....
