Welcome. There are a lot of award winning photos taken with cell phones. Steve Perry, a well respected wildlife photographer, has said (paraphrasing) the most important part of taking great pictures is the 4" behind the camera. I believe 75% of taking good photos is your knowledge of photography and a little luck, 15% Post Processing skills, and 10% equipment as long as it meets a minimum quality level and modern cell phones do.
