Hi all, new here, trying to improve my subpar skills

Read Scott Kelby's book last summer and that helped a lot, working on volumes 2 and 3 now. My equipment is all basic, I am currently using a Canon Rebel XSi with the 18-55 kit lens and an EFS 55-250 lens. Use a plain old tripod.

Currently saving to upgrade the tripod and get a much better lens since i do most of my photography while hiking and camping.

I lived in Lancaster for 22 years. For the past 9 years I have been in the Wilkes Barre area, what a dump this town is!!!!!!!
