Hi guys! Sharing Fall pics. 15 pics! pt. 1

We changed computers and I am finally getting this one going with everything put back in my faves and such so I have been off for quite a while. I just did these fall pics today and wanted to get some honest opinions on them. Warning, it is quite a bit as I can never decide which ones to share and I took about 250 of them.

Too many good ones to list. I like this set more then your set in part 2. Great job!

Photos 1 and 13 appeal to me INSTANTLY. He communicates with the camera (and consequently with us, the viewers) so openly in those.
The setting is wonderfully chosen, which shows in all of them, and the autumn feeling is well conveyed.

But the most appealing to me are those two in which he directly looks at me an his eyes are nicely lit by both natural light and fill flash (or his hair in 13 and the fill flash "fills" his face).

some nice photos. i like number 13 ALOT better than the rest. the composition on most of them is just...not 'together'. something seems off. there's too many to say much detail on this though. and i'm not a big fan of flash fill (although on 13 it looks fine), but that's just my opinion

Yep, #1 and #13 standout. I actually like #4, but I think you need to crop it to make a better composition. I'd definitely crop out the tree on the far left. And, I'd crop down from the top as well since his shoes are so close to the edge of the frame, I think there is too much headroom. I'm not a big fan of the ones where you are directly above him. Those can sometimes turn out pretty cool looking, but usually it's when you can get the child to look up into the lens at you.
I think the composition is hurting some of these. In many of them he's just right dead in the center.

Beautiful photos of a cute boy. But I would suggest you to post some photos adjusted to 800 X 600 size as portraits, and such ones with bright colours look good in big canvas.

They are fab photos - he is such a cute guy. I had some photos of my kids put onto canvas the other day - they are due to be here in the next day or so. I used a company online called www.canvasrus.com . I will let you know how they turn out.

It's a nice kid, SC! And there's a couple nice photos there. But you should've straightened the horizon on all those that need it, imo.
