Hi there folks.
Just another noob stopping off at the intro forum first to say hi.
My name's Buck, I'm 50, amateur (never made my living from photography, though I take on a few jobs and make a few sales here and there), and I've been shooting for about 40 years now. My film cameras are part of my antique camera collection now. They include the Nikon F I learned my basics on, a Yashica I used after that, a Mamiya C330, and a bunch of antiques I've picked up in my travels along the way, mostly old Kodaks. I shoot Canon digitals these days, currently the 40D.
I live in Northern Michigan at present, but I've spent my adult life living on the road, traveling the US from North to South and coast to coast, making my living as a telecommunications construction engineer / manager.
I lurked for a while before registering, and this looks like my kind of place. See you round the forums.
