Hello.
I just joined the forums,and i cant believe it took me so long!
Seems like a huge community,fun! :D
Anyway,thought ill post couple of photos from today.

[Im kinda raging about cutting the ears..TWICE..shame..Im OCD like that :c ]

You make quite a common error - cutting off parts of the cats. Try and include all their ears!
 
A good start.
All of these would have been better in portrait (it's in the name).
For self portraits you should use a tripod and a bit of distance.
Keep trying, you will improve.
 
I already stated im aware of the problem with the ears cutting
therefore i know doing that is wrong.

For self portraits I use a tripod and a remote. My LCD screen rotates so I Turn it so I can see. My remote has a few second delay so I can make sure it is in focus before the camera goes off. Another way is to set the camera up and put something where you are going to be - focus the camera then set the time and switch places with whatever you focused on. Might be good to put the camera/lens in manual focus after you lock focus that way the camera doesn't lose focus when you switch places.
