This is my first posts on TPF. I'm a 22 year old student, studying business. I worked my ass off last year to save up to upgrade my camera. I'm switching over to the dark side: Canon 5D Mark II (and 50mm f/1.4). I currently own Nikon D5000, which worked well for my first SLR. I'm, by no means, a professional. Just have had a love for photography all of my life -- took summer classes while in elementary school, making the classic Quaker Oats Camera! I am all about natural light and keeping images as "real" as possible (i.e., not photoshoppin' a whole lot).

I'm sure I will bombard everyone with Canon questions as I'm accustomed to Nikon. Really looking forward to learning anything and everything!

That's a good combo - studying business and doing photography. Are you thinking about ultimately having your own photography business, or doing something else while keeping photography as a hobby?
