Hello All,
My name is Cat, I'm originally from Alabama, but have spent the last six years in Georgia and Florida (the last 4 in Florida). I recently finished my BA in Music (concentrations, vocal and sacred) and moved back "home" with my family. My family lives on the road as my parents work for a company that is contracted to railroads. Since they work unusual hours and in unusual circumstances, I have agreed to be the nanny for my three younger brothers and add music to their current curriculum.
I got my first camera when I was about 7. It was a very basic camera, but I loved it and used it for years until it died. I received my first SLR (a refurbished Minolta Vectis 35mm, which I still have but don't use as much) as a Christmas present when I was about 14 and bought my first digital camera (Olympus iR500 - point and shoot) when I was 16 in preparation for a trip to study music in Washington D.C. I spent the next few years in camera envy, but made what I work and got some pretty decent shots. For my graduation, my parents gave me a Rebel t1i which I really enjoy using. They have recently encouraged me to look into developing skills more in depth. My REAL weakness is in editing, as I have only messed around with that a little and have never actually used photoshop.
If anyone is interested, I have some photos here: CatherineE | Redbubble Since most of the feedback I get (family & friends) is positive, I do appreciate critical feedback.
Thanks For reading!
