Sorry- didnt post here...want to say hello properly.
I'm a newbie and know nothing bout photography cept that people say i take fairly good pics...
I've just bought a new (point and click but slightly customisable) camera and have posted on the thread for advice
Hope someone can help- please use easy terms for me...dont know my apertures from my isos! lol

The first thing I would suggest is to read the camera's manual; more than once. You want to know how all the buttons and features work.

Then take a couple of shots and post them here.
