Just a quick post to introduce myself having just registered....

I live in the UK, about halfway between London and the southern coast, and I kind of fell into photography from the graphic design and image manipulation side of things. I found that I was needing to take more and more photographs myself, and became well and truly hooked. I used to have a full time job that I fitted the photography around, but now I tend to fit the job around the photography!

As this is post no.1, here's image no.1:

LaFoto: Alas the eye colour is not mine (which incidentally are hazel). I overlaid my watch face in Photoshop and then used a colour layer to make it a little more subtle. The flecks around the edge are the Roman Numerals. If you noticed that, and hence the

smiley, then please ignore everything I've just said!

Thanks for the invite, and I would love to come to the meet in London on the 2nd/3rd, but unfortunately (although that's not quite the right word) I'll be on holiday. I shall keep my eyes out for the next one that's within reach.
