I have a Nikon D3200 and was wondering if it is possible with this camera to view the histogram in the viewfinder I have looked through the manual and can't find any mention of that?

I know you can on the Nikon D5300. I definitely use it in my viewfinder.

You see see the histogram in the viewfinder?! I've only figured out how to see it in image playback on my D5500...

viewfinder or LCD display?

Sorry, but that's not a histogram you see in the VF.

you can view a histogram for each photo you take on the lcd screen in the play back menu.

you can set up the camera in the spot you want to take the photo, snap a shot, view the image and its histogram and get a good idea of your exposure.

i am not sure if there is a live view histogram or not but i use the method above when i can.
