Im new to these forums, but from what Ive seen they're awesome.
Anyway... I currently own two cameras, a 35mm nikon n80 and a little canon point and shoot (3.2mp). Im looking to get a new camera but Im not sure as to whether to get another point and shoot (possibly one of the ones with a large zoom lens) or a digital slr. I do realize the obvious benefits of getting an slr such as more control, but I realized recently that I almost always have my point and shoot in my pocket but I rarely carry my slr. That means that most of my best photos have been done on my point and shoot. This makes me think I should get another digicam because Ill have it with me much more often and it will be much more conveniant to carry around. Any advice is welcome, and I was also wondering if there are any serious amateurs (or professionals) out there who use a point and shoot/digicam predominantly.
