im new to the forum, just checking in and saying hi. im currently shooting with a nikon s60 and should be getting my canon t1i shortly. ive just started messing around in photography as a hobby and im falling in love with it... ill get some pics up later but dont expect anything spectacular... :mrgreen:

edit: heres a few i already had in my photobucket. this is my truck btw, my pride and joy and the subject of most of my photos...

Welcome to the forums!

I would suggest a less "busy" background for the truck shots. Also, for the beach scenes, do some research into the Rule Of Thirds.

the beach is an older pic before i knew what a composed photo was(not that i have a great understanding of it now...) not to mention i was sitting in the truck on a bridge when i took it, lol, but i do know what you mean. as far as the parking lot goes i was adjusting some things on the camera and i needed a dimly lit spot for that, i wish i had gone further out in the lot after i got home a saw the results...
