RE-35 | Digital cartridges for analog 35-mm cameras

Ditigal film! Pull out sensor that fits in any 35mm camera! If this is real, this will be a real innovation. I am not expecting the resolution to be great, but these are the things that will improve with time when the market buys into it.

It's only real on one special day in April

However the idea was based on a real concept that was on the table when digital was starting to make an appearance. However it overlook the film market so completely that development was never taken further and they never really made it to the market. So far as I know they don't actually exist (if they do they are ultra rare - probably expensive and not that good)

When I saw the "Holy cow if this is real" I had a feeling this was what it was about.

Just read this disclaimer at the bottom. lol As cool as it would be, I think it would defeat the purpose of me going to film in the first place. Taking time with photos, and having to wait for the results.

Not to worry. Film is better anyway. I'd rather have a way of putting film in a DSLR.
