i just creeped on a local photographers image details and found 1/4000 with iso 6400... and then 1/30 with iso 200. im baffled.

It wasn't by any chance a photo of an indoor pole vaulter in action meant for a cereal box, and a wide angle texture study of fruit in low light meant to be expanded to a poster sized print, respectively, was it?

Well, I think you're being a bit harsh on the photographer in question.

I can imagine that photographing an actual holy cow is a tricky situation best left to professionals; I mean, one minute their little halos glow so bright it just blows everything else out and the next minute...it's just a cow.
