I received Honorable Mention in a photo contest.

It was at the Edmonton Photographic Trade Show. I have no idea how many people entered, so I guess I don't know if this was much of an achievement...but they had a running slide show of the winners and top pics, and they were all pretty good.

The photo was entered in the People category.

Yes, it was a single off-camera light. I used a studio strobe with the standard 7" reflector, powered by a portable battery.
