that shot turned out great, i've only been to photo the canyon once, i actually found it quite challenging trying to capture something of that magnitude. You've done a nice job showing the depth here... :thumbup:

Thanks. It was a special trip for me- had my grand-daughter there. I had to impress her .

Although the park closes the road in the summer months, I really appreciate the way they hump-n-haul to get the photo freaks out there on the shuttle to catch the sunrise.

Very nice! I'm going to be out that way in about a week and a half, and I can only hope to take something as nice as you have.

On the way, I'll be passing through Joshua Tree to visit my parents, and then a day trip to Amboy and Amboy crater...and then on through Baker to Las Vegas. I only mention this because abraxes has a desert blog, and he might know some of these places.

a really good picture of canyon! I like it a lot! I love the colours here It is something diffrent to what I've seen of canyons (on pictures only, unfortunatelly)
