House Fire

Nothing huge, but this happened last night near my house. Everyone was out ok. Seemed like the FD contained it to one room, but due to smoke, the Red Cross was called in to house the family of 8.

Oh-oh. Thankfully nothing worse happened, but I always feel for the people who have a fire in their place so much! The shock, the fright, the overall drama of things, the loss of maybe unvaluable things (material-wise), but highly valuable to them, like photos or so (!) (what else would I suggest? ) or a much beloved soft toy ... but well, a life is a life, and it is good that all lives could be saved!

1/15th 4.0 at ISO 800. Just tried to be as steady as I could. I used photoshop to boost up the levels as well.

Nicely shot in very difficult lighting conditions. Great job and I am glad to hear the family is okay.
